Activity Programs
We
think that an Activity Program is very important for our seniors. In
2010 we added a full-time Assistant Activity Director as well as a
person to assist with activities every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am-4
pm. Having a full-time Activity Director and an Assistant has enabled
us to run concurrent activities as we realize that everyone is not
going to enjoy the same things.
Some of our activities include: 1) Mystery drive 2) First Lady
Trivia 3) Person, place or thing 4) Reminiscing 5) Dice 6) Penny
poker 7) Bulletin board trivia 8) Wii play 9) Balloon volleyball 10)
Five things about me 11) Rummikub 12) Flower arrangements 13) Art class
14) Gin rummy 15) Lotto game 16) Cook’s corner 17) This is your life
18) NM Museum of Natural History & Dynatheater 19) Dominoes 20)
Bowling 21) Thoughts about the poem 22) Plant a flower 23) Crafty hands
24) Men’s hour 25) This was the year “1956” 26) Men’s outing
“Fuddruckers” 27) True confessions 28) Parade of hats 29) Family
